Yoann Sarrat is an artist who uses dance and writing in different projects. Based in Clermont-Ferrand, he worked with experimental composer Frédéric Acquaviva, choreographer Tal Beit Halachmi, the viola artist Marie Takahashi, visual artists and tattoo-artists. He also worked for contemporary dance and hip hop companies, e.g. Nomade, Talita Koumi, E-GO, Daruma. In 2016, he founded dance compagny «FREEING» together with Thieng Nguyen which proposes dance classes, workshops and choreographic creations. Yoann also writes articles, fiction texts and poetry in fanzines and magazines. He created his own magazine «FREEING (Our Bodies)» based on literature and body arts.
