Thieng Nguyen is a choreographic artist from Rennes. He has danced in several crews and companies before coming to Clermont-Ferrand and creating FREEING Cie. He has won several competitions and teaches hip hop dance and contemporary dance. Recently, he appeared in a documentary directed by SAK film on French dancers traveling to Japan.
About soundance festival berlin
The soundance festival berlin presents joint projects by dancers, choreographers, musicians and composers of the Berlin independent scene and invites international guest artists. As an impulse for the dialogue between the different genres, the festival presents a broad spectrum of artistic styles from contemporary dance to real-time music, from Post Butoh to New Jazz and improvisation – analog and electronic. Cross-generational, diverse works and formats between sound and movement in theater and urban space will be experienced by the audience. The soundance festival berlin was founded in 2017.
