Olivia Mitterhuemer is a Salzburg-based dancer with a main focus on Hip Hop Freestyle and House Dance. Besides being a dance teacher, she found her way into different dance productions such as #fomo, Hidden in plain sight or the underwater dance piece Zeitgeist by Hungry Sharks. Performances brought her to festival/stages like Danza Bolzano, Impulstanz Vienna, DANCENET Sweden, Hip-Hop Dancefest San Francisco and more.

Highlights of 2019 were a choreografic assistance for the duet ARIELLE (Farah Deen/Christoh), as well as the premiere of her own House Dance piece Houseward Bound.

The soundance festival berlin presents joint projects by dancers, choreographers, musicians and composers of the Berlin independent scene and invites international guest artists. As an impulse for the dialogue between the different genres, the festival presents a broad spectrum of artistic styles from contemporary dance to real-time music, from Post Butoh to New Jazz and improvisation – analog and electronic. Cross-generational, diverse works and formats between sound and movement in theater and urban space will be experienced by the audience. The soundance festival berlin was founded in 2017.
