George Kokkinaris is a double bass player, composer, improviser and performer. He performs in several concerts and performances, both as a soloist as well as a member in orchestras and chamber music ensembles. George presents multidisciplinary performances combining music with other forms of arts. He has collaborating with many dancers and choreographers such as: Julyen Hamilton, Konstantin Mihos, Juri Konjar. As a tutor, he organizes workshops for music and dance performances. He counts a growing discography with classical and contemporary music recordings.

About soundance festival berlin

The soundance festival berlin presents joint projects by dancers, choreographers, musicians and composers of the Berlin independent scene and invites international guest artists. As an impulse for the dialogue between the different genres, the festival presents a broad spectrum of artistic styles from contemporary dance to real-time music, from Post Butoh to New Jazz and improvisation – analog and electronic. Cross-generational, diverse works and formats between sound and movement in theater and urban space will be experienced by the audience. The soundance festival berlin was founded in 2017.
