Annukka Hirvonen is a dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Berlin. In the recent years her work and research have been highly inspired and influenced by the art of improvisation and instant composition, engaging her into creating and performing several collaborative multi-disciplinary works with a number of artists. In her choreographic work she is fascinated by the realms of the intuitive and subconscious, qualities of presence and listening, deeply inhabited physicality and an awakeful, lived body that reflects and interprets the human story with clarity and transparency.
